This awesome new Sprint commercial I saw during the Mentalist on channel two just gave away two things. One, there will be a giant network brawl between Sprint and and its Palm Pre and AT&T with the iPhone 3G. And two, the Palm Pre will run on the first 4G network ever.
Woah, woah, woah, wait! 4G?! Aren't they still rolling our 3G? Isn't T-Mobile still barely rolling out its 3G also? Aren't there still tons of places that still don't have 3G networking? So let me ask you this, how can a company introduce something new when the thing before it is barely available or even used? Because we're evolving.
3G was cool, but 4G is the way of the future. I've never personally tried it, but I've heard it's blazing fast. I think 4G will make the Pre a major contender with the iPhone 3G. Doesn't "iPhone 3G" seem so lame next to 4G?
And honestly, this was an awesome, amazing commercial and Sprint completely pulled this one out of the bag at the end. Now I'm really excited to see the Palm Pre, and the future of 4G networks.
